¹ Adam vero cognovit Evam uxorem suam, quae concepit et peperit Cain dicens: “Acquisivi virum per Dominum”.
Now Adam knew Eva his wife, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, saying: “I have acquired a man through the LORD.”
